Surf Session — Triptych
Surf Session is an original surf triptych composed of three individual acrylic paintings, each measuring 20 × 40 cm. Together, the three works tell a visual story of girls preparing for and enjoying a surf session.
Each panel represents a different moment.
The first painting shows a girl preparing her surfboard, getting everything ready before heading into the water. The second captures the ritual of waxing the board, an essential part of preparing for the waves. The third painting moves from preparation to action, showing a girl in the water, immersed in the experience of surfing.
Displayed together, the three paintings create a continuous narrative — from preparation, to anticipation, to the moment of finally entering the sea.
This acrylic surf triptych is united by a predominantly blue-green colour palette. Different shades of turquoise, deep blue and green create a visual connection between the three panels and reinforce the feeling of being surrounded by the ocean.
